How to play and use the natural minor scale, and the basics of Alternate Picking

This time I am showing how to extend riffing in E minor pentatonic mixed with some passing soloing patterns.

I composed a melodic solo to show you different resources that you can include in your compositions. Here we'll use different techniques as octaves, alternate picking, vibrato, harmonics & slides.

I would like to provide some ideas on how we can use an E minor scale in three positions and how we can switch between them!

This exercise may sound difficult for the beginner, but don't be discouraged if you cannot play it at full speed. It takes time to develop these arpeggios, so start slowly and play at the most comfortable speed.
